Sunrise at the Alabama Hills, October 2, 2021

First light touches Mt. Whitney.

Möbius arc warms its surface on the morning sun.

When I told Shantal we were going to do a walk-through of the locations I had scouted, this isn’t what she had in mind.

She even helped Ulyses reach higher ground.

After a wardrobe change and some lunch, we were ready to shoot!

As you enter Alabama Hills from Lone Pine, you’re greeted with a photo-op that’s hard to frown at.

Something about sunbursts that are mesmerizing

The joy and love Shantal and Ulyses had for each other was palpable.

As twilight approached, the stars came out

A little light painting by ulyses and a lot more by the cosmos.

We even had a visitor shoot through the sky so, at Mobius arc, so as to not be left out of this adventure with Shantal and Ulyses.
